Mr Jeffries Empty Mr Jeffries

Towaards the end of the movie Mr. Jeffries gives Lisa an "admiring gaze." That shot gives the audience room to think and infer about Mr. Jeffries feelings towards Lisa. From my point of view, I see that look as almost like a realization thought like "this woman is amazing." Her getting so involved in Mr. Jeffries' ideas about his neighbor made him admire her and second guess his thoughts about her not being the right woman for him.
