Little Baby Hitler

At the end of the movie, Florya is, for the first time, shooting his rifle. He shot his rifle at a picture of Hitler. My thoughts towards this is that he was shooting all his memories away, what Hitler has caused to him and all the people surrounding him. Florya finally stops shooting when the picture of baby Hitler comes up, Florya pictures the innocence in that picture and sees how at that time Hitler has not committed any felonies like he has at the present time. Florya decides to not shoot at him for the reason of Hitler being innocent at that stage of time.
