A little resemblence between "Come and See" and "The Garden of Eden"

This whole topic is solely based on certain events and symbols that led to my creation of this analysis. I see a resemblence with Florya and his gun with Eve and the apple. Both can be placed into a category that can be named "characters changed by an item". Florya and Eve both came into contact with an item that had changed their childlike life into an adult life. Though one can argue that the time it took for them to develop an adult life is a huge gap, they both lost their innocence. Am I the only who sees this resemblence.
