Rear Window and Average Shot Length
I agree with Tony, Hitchcock film edge irrelevant scenario taking place around Jefferies neighborhood and the scene would go as following; Naked girl Dancing, Jefferies Russian Film Experiment, Ms. lonely heart, Jefferies Russian film experiment. Hitchcock wanted to see how people felt seeing a scene then seeing mr. Jefferies emotionless face. Getting the audience to think whether to be happy, sad, angry, suspicious, nosey.
